Natural deodorant armpit detox in 3 easy steps

natural deodorant armpit detox

Did you know that you should detox your armpits when you switch from using antiperspirant deodorant to natural deodorant? Here’s how to do it in 3 easy steps… Cheap and simple!

If you’re switching to a natural deodorant, chances are you’ll need an armpit detox.  This simple method uses bentonite clay and optional apple cider vinegar. It’s quick, easy and inexpensive. If you prefer, you can add some water to dilute the vinegar or equal parts bentonite clay and coconut oil for a more soothing, hydrating mix that still has some antibacterial properties thanks to the coconut oil.

Grab a bowl, bentonite clay*, apple cider vinegar and water.

* Bentonite clay is available from most chemists and health food shops. It has antibacterial properties and works as a detox agent.  If you can’t source bentonite clay, bicarb soda or activated charcoal can be used as an alternative.  It should be noted that some people are allergic to bicarb soda.

Mix one teaspoon of the bentonite clay, 1/2 teaspoon of water and 1/2 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.

Apply the paste to your underarms. After 4-6 minutes, gently wash off the paste with a wash cloth and warm water. Some of our customers report great results when using a natural pumice stone to apply the clay.

Repeat once a day (it’s easiest to do it in the shower) for 10 – 14 days.
